Back pain and me.
So I have been suffering with major back pain for the past week. (And no, that's not a euphamism for Rob). It started one night before Rob and I went to bed, and it's continued non-stop ever since for about a week. It's a sharp pain right in between my right shoulder blade and my spine and it extends up into my shoulders and neck. Nothing works to ease the pain. Rubbing it doesn't do it. Heat doesn't do it. The only thing that gets me to sleep at night is Tylenol PM, and I really don't want to take to much of that.

I've got nothin, but more heat, more rubbing, and maybe some extra tea.
You posted Wednesday - this is Friday - so....
The nurse in me needs to tell you that ibuprofen is a anti-inflammatory but is not necessarily the best always for the of pain. It needs to be taken, but can take a week or so to actually start working on the inflammatory issue. The same nurse also says that if it's been going on for a week that you should seek the advice of you local physician (find one) to make sure it's nothing weird. If he just thinks it muscle stuff he may give you muscle relaxes and different pain meds...
It can take 6 weeks for back pain to get better completely - but if you are still having high pain levels then "GO TO THE DOCTOR!"
Love you - hope it gets better soon.
